An implant on average lasts for
10-12months.

We Recommend you have the implant together
with Therapy. The implant helps to take away the decision to have alcohol. You
are not left with the mental torture of "should I drink" or
"shouldn't I drink". Simply put you CAN'T Drink. AA and therapy will
help with the mental support.

Why Is The Procedure
In Poland
The Implant is fully regulated In the EU
and Poland. It has not been approved in the UK "yet". The MHRA
(Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and the FDA (Food and
Drug Administration USA) are reviewing the clinical trials. The opinion of some
medical professionals is that the drug used in the implant has been approved
for 30+ years and there would be a reduction in sales for the pharmaceutical
companies who often fund the clinical trials regionally for approval. For these
reasons, the procedure takes place in Poland by private surgeons.
